How Renting an App Works

“Renting” an app sounds unusual until you notice that businesses already rent almost every other tool they run on — payroll software, booking systems, email, phones. Rent-an-App applies the same logic to your business’s own mobile app.

What the monthly rate covers

One flat rate covers the entire life of the app:

  • The build. A real native iPhone & Android app configured for your business — your branding, services, hours, booking, and content.
  • Publishing. The app ships on the App Store and Google Play under your own developer accounts, so the listing carries your business name. (Apple charges $99/yr and Google a one-time $25 for those accounts, paid directly to them.)
  • Hosting & updates. Servers, security patches, OS compatibility, and store-policy compliance are handled for you, continuously.
  • Support. When something needs attention, that’s covered too — it’s our platform.

1-year vs. 3-year agreements

Plans come in 1-year and 3-year terms. The 3-year agreement gets a lower monthly rate and the onboarding fee waived — on the Presence plan, for example, that’s $249/month instead of $299, with the $500 onboarding fee dropped. After the initial term, agreements renew annually.

Why this beats owning the problem

When you commission a custom build, you own an asset — and every one of its problems: maintenance, hosting, store rejections, OS breakage. When you rent, those problems belong to the platform, and your cost is a predictable line item instead of a surprise invoice. Compare the numbers in what an app really costs.
